This guide will show you how to install printers for use with labels that are designed at the correct size

Open the Thermal Utility application and click the "Click Here To Install Your Printer Now" button.
Select your connection type from the dropdown and click Next.
Select your printer from the popup if using USB or enter the network details for the printer if using Network and click Next.
Choose your printer model from the popup and click Next.
Select the label type you will be using.

Die Cut labels are normal labels with a gap between each label, these are the most common label type and most likely what you will be using.

Continuous are labels/paper without a gap between each label.
Black Marked labels have a black mark or line on the back of the labels.
Slotted labels have a small cut out between each label.

Once selected click Next.
Select the content type you will be printing onto the labels and click Next.
Enter a name for the printer and click Next.
Optionally add a location for the printer and click Next.
This will show when sharing the printer on the network.
Add your label sizes from the popup menu or by clicking the Add Other Size Label button and entering the label dimensions and then click Next.
Select Other Application i.e Pages as the app you will be printing from and click Next.
Click the Install Printer button.
The printer will then be calibrated to the label size.
Click OK to continue.
The printer will push out some blank labels to calibrate to the label size and then will print a label that says "Test Label".

If this printed click Yes and the printer is ready to use from your application of choice.

If the printer did not print a test label please try printing from your app of choice.
If the printer is still not printing please contact our tech support team at tech@allensby.com
